Syria Daily Briefing was created in response to a clear challenge: official Syrian government communications were scattered across more than 30 Telegram channels, making it difficult to follow developments comprehensively. This fragmentation, combined with duplication and the lack of reliable English translations, led to an information environment that was overwhelming and inaccessible.

The project began from a recognition of this problem and the frustration it caused. It has since evolved into a fully automated system that uses AI to collect, organize, and translate government updates into a single daily briefing. The result is a resource designed to reduce complexity, improve accessibility, and provide citizens, researchers, and international audiences with a structured view of official Syrian news.
